Golandsky Institute Berkeley Seminar

Our 14th year of being the San Francisco Bay Area outpost of the NYC Golandsky Institute. Come join us for 3 days of presentations about the Taubman Approach to piano technique, held at the Berkeley Piano Club. I have been studying this technique for 27 years and credit this for allowing me to play all these years, pain-free and with a warm, round sound. I tried so hard to get this sound during my 20s and 30s, but without the knowledge of the mechanics of the piano and how the human anatomy relates to it. Now, I have to say, it is so gratifying for me to hear myself play, and also to be able to help my students attain the same concrete and practical understanding about how to put that little key down with ease. See website for more information.
